Precious Wonders Egg Donation Program
Program Services

Unlike many independent agencies and fertility centers offering egg donation with a seemingly complex menu and pricing of services, PreciousWonders offers a single fee* for the recruiting, screening, compensation, and administrative management of egg donors. Our program is designed to optimize the donor’s experience by offering them expert and supportive services, along with excellent compensation for their time and effort, and to optimize the recipient’s experience by offering qualified donors, personalized attention, and service excellence. The single fee includes:

Recruiting Prospective Donors
PreciousWonders actively recruits prospective donors primarily in Arizona through various mediums targeting the optimal demographic we seek for our recipients (including donors from all ethnic backgrounds, between the ages of 18-30, and who are height-weight proportionate).

Because of our reputation, we do receive inquiries from out-of-state donors whom, if selected, will also be available to our recipients. In those situations where an out-of-state donor is selected, PreciousWonders will identify the best outside monitoring clinic for your donor, if required, and will schedule and follow-up on all donor screening and monitoring appointments at no extra** cost to you. (**The recipient will only pay additionally for the donor monitoring at the outside clinic and any travel related expenses to Arizona. Screening is covered through the PreciousWonders fee.)

Comprehensive Donor Pre-Selection Screening
PreciousWonders adheres to a strict screening process compliant with FDA regulations for ovum donation. Donors complete detailed questionnaires, interviews, and undergo the following services and tests before being selected for consideration:

  • A consultation and complete physical examination by a physician
  • Pelvic ultrasound
  • Preliminary laboratory screening tests
  • Genetic Counseling (performed by a certified genetic counselor of the American Board of Medical Genetics)
  • Psychological evaluation, complete with the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) (performed by a board certified psychologist)

Donor Profiles
Qualified donors are profiled in dossiers complete with photographs, physical and personal attributes, and family history.  These are available for viewing in our office or can be mailed to recipients upon request.

Medical insurance
A donor selected by a recipient will be covered by short-term medical insurance in the event of unforeseen medical complications.

Pre-IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) Laboratory Screening
There is an extensive panel of laboratory tests the selected donor must undergo prior to IVF. The Federal Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines for egg donations are strictly followed.  One such mandate is that donors must be screened for STDs 30 days prior to each IVF procedure.

Donor Compensation
Donors make a significant commitment in time and effort. Successful donors are compensated at key intervals during the process, and $3,500 upon completion of an IVF egg retrieval cycle.

PreciousWonders’ Pledge:
A recipient may select another PreciousWonders’ donor, at NO ADDITIONAL DONOR PROGRAM FEE, for the above listed services if: a selected donor drops-out, a selected donor becomes ineligible due to the results of pre-IVF laboratory screening, or if an IVF donor oocyte retrieval does not produce eggs.

*CLINICAL AND LABORATORY FEES ASSOCIATED WITH DONOR IVF MONITORING  & PROCEDURE RELATED SERVICES, RECIPIENT SCREENING & MONITORING, AND PARTNER SCREENING ARE CHARGED SEPARATELY AND DIRECTLY BY THE CLINIC. MEDICATION COSTS VARY AND ARE PAID DIRECTLY TO THE PHARMACY. FERTILITY TREATMENT CENTER REPRESENTATIVES WILL REVIEW THESE SERVICES & FEES WITH YOU.
