Recipient Information

Seeking pregnancy through egg donation is an option for women who are over the age of 38 (advanced age increases the likelihood of egg abnormalities), suffer from premature menopause and/or poor ovarian function, carry genetic disorders they do not wish to pass on to their child, have had their ovaries surgically removed, or have not succeeded with other reproductive therapies.

Since 1990, FTC has been providing patients with the latest advancements in reproductive medicine to meet their needs, delivered with personalized care and compassion.  In keeping with our mission to offer patients options to every facet of service and care in one center, we have established PreciousWonders, our egg donation program. Fertility Treatment Center (FTC) is pleased to offer a unique program that offers our recipient patients qualified donors through PreciousWonders.

Our registry currently features 50 EGG DONORS.

For many years, FTC has worked with outside egg donor agencies selected by our patients. Although this is still an option, PreciousWonders will offer recipients the uniqueness of its perspective and reproductive expertise to qualify donors and aid our recipients in the matching process. PreciousWonders has assembled an experienced staff committed to recruiting outstanding donors and providing the finest personalized service possible to our recipients. 

Another advantage for our recipients is the fairness and value of a single fee offered by PreciousWonders.  Donors will be formally matched to recipients only after passing a comprehensive application and interview process, pre-qualifying laboratory testing, a consultation and physical examination by one of our physicians, a genetic consultation with a board certified genetic counselor, and a psychological evaluation by a board certified psychologist. All FDA and ASRM (American Society of Reproductive Medicine) guidelines are strictly followed.

We recognize there are occasional circumstances that may arise which can adversely affect a chosen donor.  Many programs require the recipient to pay additional fees or added surcharges to select another donor. PreciousWonders does neither. A recipient may select another PreciousWonders’ donor, at no additional donor program fee, if a selected donor drops-out, a selected donor becomes ineligible due to the results of pre-IVF laboratory screening, or if an IVF donor oocyte retrieval does not produce eggs (See Program Services for details).
